I just seen that Bryan has been doing a survival kit: a small guyto + a small Nakiri in one Saya and moribashi. I find the idea excellent to make on saya for two knives for a traveling kit. Have you seen that before ? He sells that here: www.bryan-raquin.com/product/survival-kit

Bugger me zetieum, this is not a survival kit... It looks really great, but this is what i want to own here in my Home, not in Timbuktu... sincerely Andreas

The knifes are too short for my liking, but the dual knife saya looks great. Doing something like that would be nice idea for a 2 knife traveling kit, except that I would prefer an option on the saya to lock the knifes safely in place. Say something that can hold an 180-210 gyuto and has another slot for a Petty, with rubber-band safe-guard like Spitzweg did on his Saya....

Nice Set! The Nakiri worries me a little bit though... kind of a low grind that reminds me of Takeda...

I would find it nice as a travel kit when I rent a a house somewhere for my family. I like also the look a lot. I will get a knife from Bryan next year, I will tell you how it goes.
