Haha yea ok. It's not going to be a huge shop still. But going from 25 to 65 m2, and close to home, and properly suitable for forging. Powerhammer is probably in my future 🤘

Thats the same size like my home. Its a biiig improvement and especially the short distance to your home is one of the best features.. My office is just 1,6km away.. so i often even go there just to drink a coffee or stuff This makes working more fun if you are there in an instance.. i can even walk to my office and it just takes 5 minutes longer Cool Powerhammer sounds great.. more possipilities for you! Cool and rock on !

It will be thin enough to not need to be sharpened really, so don't worry. Just I don't like the idea of guided systems.

Dear Robin, I am afraid that with your suggestions, you are very challenging the members here. Only with strop and freehand it is difficult to keep the cutting edge. I´ve got more than 30 different Strops, but, who got this too?

Dear Andreas. I'm not afraid and I think it will be fine 😎😛✌
Newspaper on a stone, or a leather belt, works if one wants to strop without a strop. Gentle edge leading alternating strokes "cutting the water" on a whetstone, also works fine.

I changed my mind to a tall regular 240 instead. And I just put a big honyaki gyuto in the webstore

cor MathiasM mastrandre Linguini Mighty Gabriel peter nik The knife is on it's way to Cor. Worth mentioning, the handles finish is a little dryer than I usually do. I usually give a couple more oilings. It doesn't raise grain anyway and looks mostly ok. The logo is etched, but that's something I will do for some of these knives coming also, since I have many blades heat treated since before I got my stamp, and it doesn't make sense to re HT them just for that imo. I made the tang a little hotter than usual for the installation so there's some yellowing tempering color peeking out from the handle. also not the end of the world
