Ganz neu. Quite nice. Moreover, it is with his new grind: slightly hollow. Griff: strongly figured birch masur, eindeer antler ferrule The first cut with krassi were great. It went through carrots like there was not tomorrow. I will make a full review in January. Now it is time for holidays.

Really nice Dalman zetieum ! The new finish looks quite different then the Dalman I tested from Karnstein. Better IMHO. Blade looks a bit thicker. How flexible is the tip? Would be interesting to compare Food Release etc. Regards, Gabriel

Looks very nice!! Thanks for showing.

Gabriel : yes indeed, it would be interesting. Food release seemed OK. Although I had very little time to test ti. Tip has very little flex. Bit there is a quite consequent distal taper (see pic).

Hm, I get the feeling that Robin has worked quite a lot on his knife concept since he made the Gyuto I tested recently. This here seems to be very much advanced and more thought through. That said - this Dalman "Hohlkehle" reminds me quite a bit of Xerxes' Regards, Gabriel

Hi! Well it was not really flexible like i know it from my prototype Gyutohiki from Dalman that i have. The Fit and finish of that one is awesome!!! Hahaha yeah i also thought "hmm that Hohlkehle looks familiar, strange.. where have i seen that before... " ) Yeah its very similar.. and the balance of the knife is great as usual.. robin always puts a handle on the knife that is perfect for the weight of the blade. Well it was a great short cutting experience and we will do a sick super Kaiser mega cologne knife meeting in January because Zoze, Zetieum and myself have gigatons of new jnats, and lots of new knifes andreas123 Zetieum is in my Neighborhood and less than 1km away from me South City Cologne! Yeah ! and Zoze is also not far away.. well and Kup of course too. So our "Cologne Knife nights" are always interesting! Seeya Daniel!

andreas123 I bought it directly from Robin. Here is his instagram: www.instagram.com/dalmanknivesand its online shop: dalmanknives.bigcartel.comFor guyto, there are rarely some available. You have to order. It is semi custom. For instance I ask for the length and we discuss shortly the height. Then Robin offered a lot of choice of handle. Also we discussed the thickness. Finally, I opt for its "standard" in therm of geometry and profile. There have a been a lot of discussion along the making and the process was extremely enjoyable. I will review that In january along with the Messer

Moin,
This one in particular looks amazing! Congrats on the beautiful knife again. I hope it cuts as good as it looks. One day I will buy a Dalman... and would love to get asylum in one of the Cologne knife nights, too! (Because of the lack of something similiar in the Ruhr Area and to meet you guys!)
Cheers, Mathias

Moin! Also wird!
