Hi guys,
First of all, Thank you for letting me be part of this forum, i will try to contribute in any way i can 🙏
My name is Jonas Johnsson and i'm from Sweden, i run a small business called Isasmedjan.
Some of you may already know who i am and some met me in Amstetten last summer.
I'm obviously focusing on kitchen cutlery, mainly because i have a strong passion for cooking (at home) but of course also because i find it very challenging and fun! But... i do have some other stuff i want to try to make for the kitchen (my main focus will always be knives though)
I've been a fulltime maker for almost a year now although i mixed it up with some other jobs in the beginning.
What more can i tell about myself🤔
My shop/smithy is based in an old amazing factoryfacility that has blacksmithshop, foundry and machineshop! It's fully sustainable with own powersource etc. It's called Ebbamåla bruk and is run as a Museum which is open during summermonths and all year around for booked guided tours. If you're ever in the neighbourhood you have to check it out, it's the coolest place, big eagles flying over quite often and you can fish for big Salmon in the river just outside 👌
I had all kinds of stuff i was supposed to wright here but i've forgotten it all 😂
Ask away if you want to know anything!
And, oh, my knowledge in the German language is shamefully low (even though i studied it for 2 years in school, guess i should have paid attention 🤦♂️) I do understand a little and Google translate works of course even though i don't trust it so if you don't want to get a possible weird answer to any question or request it's best to wright in English 😁
Cheers Jonas

Hej Jonas,
Did you move your shop/smithy from your garage to a new place?
Keep up the fantastic work, please!
Cheers, Manuel
