Here my two new toys. A Nakiri and reprofiled Santoku. Those are Wakui but sold under the name "Yamawaku". Original crap handles were replaced by fantastic handles made by Anton K. He also reprofiled the Santoku to give it a real tip and rounded everything (spines, heels, and even the front of the nakiri). Stunning job! I was lucky because Anton is more than busy and still agreed to exceptionally do these handles. These knives, (the nakiri especially) are unbeleivably thin being the edge. Crazy. It really falls through. The handles from Anton are stunning, made to fit perfectly, of a diameter that fits well the knives, and the weight is adapted to give a balanced point just in front of the pinch grip. Just perfect. Nice kasumi finish and mirror edge, especially for this price point. Steel: V2, iron clad Nakiri leftphoto by Antonphoto by Anton, see the nice roundingPerfect fit

Salut,
Beautiful knives! Pretty serious handles and very decent blades. When you say that Anton "exceptionally" made these for you, what does that mean exactly? That he won't take up any new orders at all?
Cheers Philipp

That he won't take up any new orders at all? Cheers Philipp Anton makes handles as a hobby. I do not want to speak for him, but currently he has very little time out of his work and only make few handles when he has time, when he finds a project interesting, and if he has no time pressure. It told me that it may change in a near future, but I think that he does not currently take a lot of new orders.
