Also the knife zetieum made was amazing!! Honyaki looked pretty good.. well only the curve in it sucked but the rest looked super sick and professional!!! Amazing Knife for the first ever knife he made!
Also super envy about the grind in! Please make a next time soon!

I feel a little bad I didn't stop you from adding the hollow grind, without it it would have staid straight, when it moved back everything we had straightened in the first tempering, was a bit sad, and we only managed to get halfway back..
All of the participants did great. It was ambitious getting these knives done, you really powered through and managed to all come out with impressive knives for your firsts. It was eye opening for me as well. Yes no magic, only lots of "intelligent efforts" and work. And practice.
There will be more occasions, but not any plans yet.

I am sure that if you would have told me that there was a risk with the hollow grind, I would have taken it anyway. The knife, even bend, is far above my expectancies. Anyway, what I value the most in this week-end is not the knife itself, but the process of making it.
